Tennis Clothing Has Come a Long Way Baby

I have been told that the tennis racket and a tennis ball are the most important pieces of equipment for a great game of tennis but I am not at all convinced. I am pretty confident that it is the tennis clothing that bares the highest importance!
Feel free to tell me if I am wrong but if you are playing tennis in clothes that are uncomfortable or clumsy it really won’t matter if your racket is the best made or not you will not have the focus you need to win.
The tennis skirt has finally come into some practical thinking. First it was long and flowing then it became a short pleated little item that required separate tennis panties. Now enter the smart choice, stretchy skirts with built in shorts and tops with built in bras so women can move comfortably and have unrestricted movement.
Men and women alike now have tennis shorts made from fabrics that are made from sweat wicking materials. In many sports these new fabrics have helped with the comfort and health of the athletes who are enjoying their sports.
Proper care should be taken for your face while playing tennis. It is a good idea to invest in a visor or hat to protect your face from the sun. We are all very aware of what those UV rays can do to our skin and eyes. Another great precaution we can take for our eyes is to wear a headband. A good sweatband headband will keep the sweat from getting into your eyes and can also help keep your hair out of your face for best visibility. I know I need all the help I can get when it comes to seeing those tennis balls come at me!
Now we get to the feet! Tennis shoes are a universal name for athletic shoes but really they can be very specific to the game. Make certain you find a great pair that have support and cushion and pair them up with a good pair of socks that stay in place!
So now I have made my case for the importance of clothing in the game of tennis! I am sure if you just want to have fun you can wear anything, but if you want to win you need to dress to win!
