Who Are the Hot Tennis Players?

There is a whole new group of tennis fans that did not exist until Chris Evert took to the court. Since then it has been a contest to see who would be crowned the newest hot tennis players of the year.

With Chris Evert’s perky good looks and physical prowess she showed the world that being a female athlete did not mean you had to look like a tom boy or perform like a man to be an icon and excel in sports.

Today you will find people arguing as to who is the hottest player around. Martina Navratilova has her fan base as does Ana Ivanovic who was said to be the most beautiful player at Wimbledon by the British Press. We cannot forget about the up and coming Maria Sharapova who stands tall at 6’2” and Gisela Dulko from Buenos Aires.

Let’s be fair to the all the women fans and talk a little bit about the male tennis players. To be or not to be a brat, that is the question. Think back on how famous John McEnroe became from not just his boyish looks but his childish temper tantrums!

Andre Agassi was a huge hit with the women and most of them never even saw him play a single match! Pete Sampras and Bjorn Borg are other examples of some good looking athletes who probably could have been horrible on the court and still be famous for their good looks alone.

Tennis is a fun and exhilarating game to watch for many reasons but personally I love the game and would be very saddened if the promoters of this wonderful sport resort to using sex as a means to promote this ageless, classy sport.
