The Pool Is a Great Spot For Table Tennis!

I am pretty sure everybody loves table tennis! Maybe you know it as Ping Pong but it is one and the same game and is very popular!

My kids have wanted a table tennis game for years but the biggest problem I had was that I had no place to put the darn thing! The kids felt the garage was a great idea but my husband and I have grown fond of having our cars parked in there so that was no dice! The next suggestion was the dining room! What? No way! I actually do use that room for Thanksgiving and Christmas and sometimes for other special occasions. Ok so maybe that is not right or fair in the minds of my children but the thought of a ping pong table in my dining room makes me think we will end up on Jerry Springer or COPS. Just does not seem socially acceptable.

I have been feeling shamed by my snobbishness so I set out on a mission to find a compromise and I finally did! I found a tennis table for the pool! This game is so popular it now has its own pool version. This has proven perfect for my family. One other version that was a possibility was one where a door could flip to become a tennis table. Pretty ingenious invention!

Well I am feeling better about myself as a mother since I now allowed a ping pong table into our home so if you have felt the same way, now you know there is an out!
